SPHERU and the Saskatchewan government have partnered to evaluate KidsFirst, the government's early childhood development program targetted to very vulnerable young children and their families. The Community Profiles describe each of the nine KidsFirst sites. There is also a fact sheet that gives an overview of how different communities implement the program.
This evaluation is funded by the Canadian Population Health Initiative and the Saskatchewan government, and is being conducted by a group of researchers and decision-makers, led by Nazeem Muhajarine at the University of Saskatchewan.
