This fact sheet summarizes the findings from the Northeast Saskatchewan Understanding the Early Years study, funded by Human Resources and Social Development Canada from 2005-08.
More detailed findings were published in the Community Mapping Report, which covers early development outcomes for children using the Early Development Instrument, and compares these outcomes to resources available in the community and characteristics of these communities. There are seven fact sheets: one on the overall project, and one each for the six study areas the project was divided into for analysis.
